Wide Body Console
Our all new console has everything and it is where it should be. The dash will accommodate up to a 12″ fish finder/nav unit. The dash has room for a 3″ bluetooth radio, has extra accessory switches, and the new compact gauge set is arranged perfectly.
You will love our new recessed toe kick that makes it easier to sit behind and move around the console, and the built-in live well with seat cushion and built-in tackle center. This console has room under the dash for up to three large 12V group 27 deep cycle trolling motor batteries.
.160 Thick Step Hull
Fit and finish is our specialty, and the Bay Pro Elite 230 is so well built that many think it is fiberglass when they look down the sides of the hull.
To top it off, we built this hull from 0.160 aluminum, unheard of for bay boats that normally have 0.125 hulls. To move this large boat, we built it on a 14 degree pad hull that lifts the boat, provides a dry ride and allows the boat to reach higher than normal speeds for a 23 foot boat varying from 200 to 250 HP.
Plenty of Leg Room
Our new console recessed toe kick combined with our 94″ wide beam gives you plenty of unobstructed passage along side this sleek console. Plus check out the gunwale side storage box and console rod holders. This new Bay Pro 230 has it all for the serious fishermen that want extra room, storage, big decks and that big boat ride.
Rear Jump Seats/Storage Boxes
The fold-down twin jump seats convert the flat rear deck into the best two seats in the boat. If you get tired of driving, simply commandeer one of these comfortable seats and relax. Why not, you are the captain. The jumps seat also open to a large storage box below.
Plus, check out the cooler, the lean post with fold down step, vertical rod holders on the back rest and hold-on handle in front of the jump seat. Although, you probably won’t need them since this is the most comfortable ride in the boat.
Multiple Storage Boxes
Over 50 cubic feet of storage makes any fisherman happy. Starting at the bow, there is an anchor locker box, a 6 cubic foot center storage dry box and two tackle tray boxes, one on the port and starboard sides. The bow box/step has a 45 gallon built in insulated cooler box. Two rod boxes, side storage, console storage, two jump seat storage boxes and two gunwale side storage trays. You asked for more storage and the Bay Pro 230 certainly has it all, and then some.
Water Resistant Rod/Storage Boxes
The two front lockable boxes hold up to 12 fishing rods, 6 in each. The boxes are designed with a recessed water lip under the cover that channels water away from the box and on to the floor where it drains into the bilge area. This allows you to put rods and other items in the box where they will be guarded from rain and wave splash.
Although these boxes are water resistant, water from high pressure or wash-down pumps can work its way up under the lid and into the box, so please be careful when cleaning.
Interior Lighting Option
Ask any boat enthusiast and one of the top factors for being comfortable while out on the water is having enough lighting. Adequate cabin lighting lets you enjoy your time on the water both day or night. LED courtesy lights provide ideal lighting without drawing too much energy and draining your boat’s batteries.
Twin Rear Deck Accessory Trays
Twin rear accessory trays located on top of the gunwale are a great place to put your pliers, fish lures, keys or whatever. The trays also have a 12v plug and convenient phone USB plug accessory strip. As we said, we put all the right stuff in the right places because we are fishermen too.
